World Record Breaking Park Opens (7 records broken) and more news!

A Look Back At The Almost Built Six Flags Park

Did you know that there was almost a Six Flags park in Dubai? They had actually started construction and breaking ground at the park, located in the Dubai Parks area of the city. However, because the other 3 theme parks in the area were not bringing in the crowds they investors wanted(Bollywood, Motiongate, Legoland), they decided to stop building the park.

They actually had already ordered some of the rides for the park. They were sitting in a back area of some unused land.

And i believe the wooden rollercoaster that they almost opened at Bollywood(before the park closed permanently) was suppose to open at Six Flags Dubai.

I’ll try to go more into the closure of this park in the future, just thought I would share some of the story here.

A Hello Kitty Hotel Concept We Made

One of my videos of an upcoming theme park went viral a few weeks ago. It was about an upcoming Hello Kitty Theme Park Resort which is going to be the world’s first. There is already a Hello Kitty Theme Park but a ‘theme park resort’ is when there is a connected hotel to the park. We’re still a few years away from this resort opening so I wanted to try my hand at creating my own version of a Hello Kitty Hotel using an AI image generator. Below are the results

I had a ton of fun making these images, some of the food especially turned out amazing. Here’s another sneak peak of the food that was generated by the AI

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Confirms Lochness Changes

Things that Busch Gardens Williamsburg are working on/planning for the coaster:

  • all-new soundtrack that is unique for the ride

  • adding a lochness monster in the water under the ride

  • additional effects of the monster inside the cave

  • new queue experience

  • a lot of track replacement

It’s no secret that this ride is one of the most picturesque rides at any theme park. It’s interlocking loops are iconic to BGW and I hope they always stay at the park in some way.

Fun fact, I’ve been to this park twice but still havn’t gotten a chance to go on this coaster ☹️

We visited Adventureland In Iowa!

For our trip to Iowa, our second theme park we visited was Adventureland Resort. This park was built to mimic Disneyland in a way. It’s main street is very very similar and the entrance looks oddly familiar. See for yourself in our vlog of the park!

Our Coaster Wheels Shop Is Now Live! (banana for scale)

I finally managed to take some pictures of those coaster wheels I bought at an auction from Dynamic Attractions. These wheels are massive, I’d probably argue they are bigger than the average rollercoaster wheel!

If you have ever wanted to own your own rollercoaster wheel, this is your opportunity! I love the one I have in my office as decoration. These are Limited in supply, once I sell out I won’t be able to get any more.

I was told by the wheel manufacturer these kind of wheels go usually go for between $800-$1500, so you’re getting a bargain with this!

If you use the coupon code ‘newsletter’ you’ll get 25% off the wheel for this week only, so hurry!

Last week we asked how often you would want to receive this newsletter. The results were pretty close between once a week and twice a week. For now we will keep this newsletter to once a week and possibly decide later if we want to make it twice a week

Disneyland Paris Hints At New Nighttime Show

Disneyland Paris just recently announced a new show coming to their park early in 2024. Called ‘Disney Symphony of Colors, this new show will include drones that once again light up the night sky. This new show is being described as extremely vibrant which should make it stand out drastically against ‘some of the greyest months of the year’.
