Six Flags Qiddiya, Bluey at Disney, Pokemon Theme Park, and More!

Opening Date Confirmed for Six Flags Qiddiya

True to their word, Six Flags Qiddiya is opening in 2025, even if it means they are opening on the very very very last day of 2025, December 31st. This park looks a absolutely stunning but here’s the most amazing thing about their opening.

They have promised that every single ride in the park will be open.

That’s huge news and a big promise to live up to. Having every single ride in a brand new park open is a lot of work. Epic Universe had roughly 2 months of previews and even then, on the opening day that I attended, their harry potter ride was down a majority of the morning.

I’m working hard on getting on their media list so I can cover the grand opening of the park.

Bluey Coming To Disneyland, Animal Kingdom, and Cruise Lines

credit Disney Parks Blog

On March 22nd, 2026, you can experience Bluey at Disneyland in California. The fantasyland theater in the back of the park, near the entrance of toon town, is being transformed into a Bluey themed theater. The theater will be set to Bluey’s school and throughout the day there will be performances where they bring the best music and games from Bluey to real life.

Guests can go up on stage(or near it if we’re being honest) and can dance along with Bluey and play some of these games like Keepy Uppy. There will also be a gnome village and fairy garden that guests can play in.

At the Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Disney World, guests can go to the conservation station where they can also play and dance with Bluey starting in Summer 2026. There will also be animals native to Australia that guests can meet outside the station.

On the Disney Cruise Lines, guests can have meet n greets, dance parties, and ‘Wakey Wakey’ a morning celebration with Bluey and friends. This will happen sometime in 2026.

These are all great and easy ways to jump on the Bluey bandwagon which is one of the most popular shows on the planet. However, I would love to see a more permanent land/attraction themed to Bluey. I understand the hesitancy to do that because I don’t think Disney actually owns the IP of Bluey. Still, a whole land themed to Bluey would surely attract a huge crowd of families.

China Is Building a Ferrari World Theme Park

Ferrari is getting a new theme park, this time in Asian, specifically in Beijing. An investment of nearly 10 billion yuan will be put in to make this new theme park come to life. This has been a long process as there have been designs in the works since 2016 to eventually bring a Ferrari theme park to China.

What can we expect from this? We’ll probably see 1 or 2 extremely fast rollercoasters in the park, a couple dark rides, and some smaller flat rides. If it’s anything like Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, it will mostly be indoors which wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world as it means the park gets to stay open throughout bad weather and cold spells.

Expect to hear more about this park in the future but don’t expect it to be built anytime soon. It might take another 5 years to be built, if not longer.

Pokemon Theme Park Opens February 5th

So its technically being built in a theme park that already exists, Yomiruiland, located near Tokyo. It will be the first permanent outdoor Pokemon attraction in the world. It’s going to open on February 5th, 2026 and tickets are already on sale!

From what I can tell, there won’t be many rides but a TON of ‘pokemon’ spread out around the park. These will be statues that guests can encounter. Over 600 Pokemon can be found in the park.

There will be a Poke Mart, Pokemon Center, a Gym, a Pokemon Parade, a flying elephant type ride but you get to ride Pikachu, and what looks like a carousel where most likely you’ll be able to ride pokemon! Here is a map of this themed land.

Is this the next Harry Potter land? In my opinion, probably not. But it’s not being built at Universal or Disney so the budget probably wasn’t the highest. I think they did a great job with what they had.

Will this be crowded? Most likely jam packed the first year of existence. Being the first permanent outdoor Pokemon, it will be crowded. Having been to the Hello Kitty theme park outside Tokyo which has been open for yearssss, it was beyond crowded. I’m sure this theme park will be no different.
