American Heartland Seemingly Cancelled

What was set to become a major competitor to Disney and Universal, albeit in the middle of nowhere and with no major infrastructure around it to support a park of this size, has seemingly been cancelled.

If Bright Sun Films has made a video about a project being cancelled, I tend to believe it’s going to stay dead. After watching his in-depth video of the park and its pitfalls, i’m more convinced.

The website for the park and parent company are dead. Lawsuits are flying everywhere. There’s allegations of impersonating god, which is never a good sign of a development moving forward, and no progress has been made on the land in over a year.

Rapunzel’s Hair Ripped Apart By Crows at Disney Sea

Apparently the crows find her hair to be great nesting material and were seen ripping it apart. What I find funnier is that Universal Orlando posted a tiktok making fun of the incident.

The park has since removed the animatronic, probably will fix her hair and then put her back in the tower. Maybe they will give her a frying pan to shoo away the crows!

But odds are, they will find a way to deter the crows from coming back to bug her animatronic. This is one of the most popular rides in the park, and her tower is a moment most guests film during the ride.

Lake Winnepesaukah Is Getting a New* Rollercoaster

This weas the former Kombo that was located at the Indianapolis Zoo. Lake Winnie has needed another rollercoaster badly, ever since it got rid of its wild mouse coaster(which found its way to Alabama Adventure).

This new coaster will most likely be located at the previous wild coasters plot as I can’t really imagine elsewhere in the park that this would go.

I’m always glad when a coaster that is still working gets another chance at a new theme park.

Wave Twister Opens at Adventureland Long Island

This brand new type of rollercoaster has just been built at Adventureland Long Island (the one in New York and not the one in Iowa). The ride puts a twist on this usual type of flat ride with an L shape instead of a back and forth layout. Does this new change make this a rollercoaster? Well, that’s up for debate.

What’s not up for debate is that it looks like a fun ride that is perfect for families which is what Adventureland is going for, so it seems like the perfect fit! See the ride below!

• Quantum Accelerator at Six Flags New England is officially opening this month on April 17th! This much delayed ride was supposed to open last year but the ride manufacturer delayed it to ensure safety, performance, and reliability of the ride.

• Legoland Florida is running a great promotion where if you stay a night, you get a gold pass membership! Rooms start at $230 per person per night with this deal, but honestly, if you’re going to be visiting the park, this is a pretty good deal!
