Busch Gardens Announces New Rollercoaster for 2025

The text shown in the video reads as

The village was rebuilt

The celebrations returned

The warnings were forgotten

Until Now

The Beast is Back

This new coaster appears to be an inverted rollercoaster, possibly very similar to the one that Busch Gardens Tampa recently received(Phoenix Rising). Most theme parks in the United Parks tend to get the same type of coaster that the other parks get in previous years.

This duplicating of rides is most likely done because a) there might be a discount in buying multiple coasters from the same manufacturer b) you can easily prove demand by looking at guest satisfaction scores for the park the ride type first shows up in.

There is no official name for this ride yet but you can actually help decide it by voting! Click on the following names to cast your vote for which one you like the most

Voting Ends Sept 25th so hurry and get your votes in!

My Trip To Bearizona Blew Me Away! Why Doesn’t Six Flags Have a Themed Restaurant Like They Did! You Gotta See It!

I had previously been to Bearizona located in Arizona(hence the name) back in 2018. I then just recently revisited the wild life park but they had a MAJOR upgrade.

Possibly the most themed restaurant at a Wild Life park ever and definitely beating out anything you might see at a Six Flags or Sea World park.

To put this restaurant into perspective, it’s just like when Fun Spot bought an RMC coaster that cost about $20 million. It’s that level of ‘How did a tiny park just afford something like this?’

The restaurant is literally something I would expect Disney or Universal to build. It’s just so detailed and has so much going on that I was awestruck!

The food also was extremely good! It wasn’t just like normal theme park food but instead felt home made (and probably was!). Their prices were also not outrageous which also blew me away!

Check out my vlog to see the wild life park and the themed restaurant!

From The Editor

Yikes, honestly that advertisement we had in our last newsletter wasn’t that great. While I do have to pay the bills for this newsletter(which is more than you think it is and far less than I earn from it), I do want to be pickier on whom I let advertise in this newsletter going forward. I’ll try to keep it as relevant as possible.

Which is why I think today’s advertisement is really relevant. I like to travel the world and go to theme parks, and that can be hard when I dont understand the local language. Babbel is an amazing language learning tool! If you’re planning(or dreaming) of traveling internationally, you should click below and check them out!

Maybe you’re going to visit Saudi Arabia when Qiddiya opens and want to learn basic greetings, traveling throughout Europe and want to ask for directions, or visiting Tokyo Disney and want to make sure you know how to ask for the bathrooms!

Learn a Language in Just 10 Minutes a Day

It’s Learning Season! Whether you’re headed back to school or just looking to explore something new, Babbel is your private tutor in your pocket. Their bite-sized lessons (just 10 minutes a day!) fit seamlessly into your routine, helping you confidently start real-world conversations in as little as three weeks. Deatheaters Leaning Into Acting Sexy at Diagon Alley(Blame Booktok)

@micheystar

...and where can I get tickets? 🤭 #DeathEaterTraps #Deatheater #HarryPotter #universalstudios #booktok

Yes, you’ve read that right. As the younger folk might say, the Deatheaters are ‘Rizzing’ up the ladies that wonder into Diagon Alley during HHN at Universal Orlando. There are countless Tiktok’s of this happening (I don’t want to link them all).

What originally was suppose to be a ‘scary’ addition to the land, has kind of morphed into something else. Am I against it, no, I think it’s perfect.

@magicaladventureswithsar

he snuck up on me 💀🖤👀 #deatheater #deatheatertok #booktok #booktokfyp #deatheatertiktok #deathearters

The Deatheaters have an approximate 20 minute set that they are out and then go back inside for 20 minutes on a break(I believe). During the first 15ish minutes, they wander through the area doing these poses with guests. There is one thing they do together during this time where they all start at Gringotts, point their wands down the street, and all match menacingly together down.

Last time I asked if you’re enjoying this newsletter. Happily most of you said you were definitely enjoying it or mostly enjoying it. The poll did get one or two people that were not enjoying it at all. If you ever have a suggestion or a complaint about the newsletter, please let us know by replying to this email! I try my best to read all replies!

Maurer Reveals New Layouts

Maurer has added new concept art to their sales page of their Spike coaster. The newest model has a shamrock shape added to it. This would make it great for any theme park in Ireland, any park with a large Irish population nearby, or any park with a section of their park based on Ireland (maybe Busch Gardens Williamsburg?).

Maurer has a history of creating amazing concept art for their coasters. We’ve shared some of the other incredible concepts they’ve created. I hope that theme parks start buying more and more of this type of coaster because it seems pretty fun!

Warner Bros Movie World Debuts Wizard of Oz Coaster Trains

These new trains look perfect for their upcoming themed land centered around the Wizard of Oz. These themed trains are perfect to take guests zooming around a cornfield in Kansas because well, they are Tractors!

This whole new land looks absolutely amazing and I hope to visit it someday. There really isn’t anything currently themed to Wizard of Oz that I know of in the world like this land. There might be the Land of Oz, but that really isn’t open enough and I dont think it contains any rides like this new land will!

If you want to check out this new land, head on over to Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia!

News At A Glance

  • A worker was killed during testing of the Olympia Looping coaster at Oktoberfest in Munich this last week. Currently, it is unknown why the rollercoaster was running when there was a worker in the track area.

  • Disney recently brought back their show at Galaxy’s Edge, the one that only happened when the land first opened, for a special night where a bunch of Make a Wish children. You can view the performance here. I wish they would do this more often, as it really brings the land to life and gives you the full potential of what this land could be.

This Weeks Comic

No new comic this week but here’s one of my favorite from the past! It very accurately describes a full day at a theme park!
