Cacau Show Announces Theme Park In Brazil Themed To Chocolate!

Imagine a Hersheypark like park but located in Brazil and that’s what you have here. I might even argue that this seems more themed to a chocolate factory than Hersheypark is. The entrance to this park appears to be be the exterior of a Giant chocolate factory which is very on point.

I’m seeing a suspended rollercoaster, a fantastic looking indoor bumper carts, a fantastic themed children’s area with smallish rides for the family including a coaster very similar to Pteradon Flyers at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando. There even appears to be a dueling water boat ride that Vekoma is building, here’s a video of what it could look like.

Overall, it appears that Vekoma will be one of the main manufacturers in the park with several coasters and at least this water ride under their belts. With this park and the new park in Mexico, it appears Vekoma is capturing a huge share in the theme park market in the western hemisphere.

First Look at Iron Rattler Trains Destined for Six Flags Qiddiya

This train design looks amazing! This rollercoaster will be located in the Steam Town section of the park. It’s kind of got a steam punk feeling to it and I think this coaster design fits perfectly with that aesthetic. The synopsis of the ride is that the Iron Rattler Mining Company is letting guests feel the adventure and thrill that the prospectors before them have taken.

This will be one of the very few tilt coasters in the world. Have a track length of 1240m, reach speeds of up to 73 mph, and will have a ‘GoFast Pass’ option where guests can skip the line by buying this pass.

I’ll have an email dedicated to everything amazing coming to Six Flags Qiddiya later on that you don’t want to miss out on!

From The Editor

I didn’t have a chance this last week to edit any more videos from IAAPA so you’ll be getting an email next week with other updates from the convention floor including an interview I had with the head of brand integration at Microsoft, who talked to me about their plans for putting Minecraft into theme parks!

The first few people to respond to this email with the phrase ‘Wolf Pack’ will get something sent to them in the mail, possibly one of the freebies I got from IAAPA! Be sure to include your mailing address!

A Proposal In Front Of The Grinch Goes How You Would Expect

@allllysssaalys

My emotions were obviously displayed by the grinch himself 😅 #engaged #thegrinch

I absolutely loved how he started screaming just like I imagine Jim Carrey would’ve screamed! I loved how he went to the crowds and started getting them pumped for what just happened.

News At A Glance

Magictecture announced recently they are selling professional backyard rollercoaster kits. Made with amusement grade materials, a proprietary track design, and a self-propelled vehicle. This out of the box concept promises a lot of fun for any backyard!

There’s 3 different version of the coaster track readily available, a small, medium, and large design. Although, if you’re looking for something more custom you can contact them to work with them to create something cool!

Here’s the kicker though, the smallest track design with a singular rider vehicle will cost you $84,240. If you want to bump it up to their longest track design that reaches a height of 25 feet and speeds of up to 25mph , then that will cost you $121,440!

This isn’t some random put together coaster though, and I strongly think the price tag reflects that. This is the same group that made a very impressive themed launch coaster in their backyard. Check out this video to see it in action!

I’m sure in their design of the above coaster and the others they’ve made in their backyard, that they know a thing or two about making a fun compact coaster in a backyard.

Disney World Announces 2025 Park Plans

First up, the Zootopia show coming to the tree of life will be called Zootopia: Better Zoogether. Here’s what the post for the attraction will be:

This show will replace the Bugs Life one currently running. Disney did say this new show would open sometime in winter of 2025, meaning that the Bugs of Life show will likely end forever sometime early in the new year. Get your last viewings of it while you can!

Disney parks then announced that Dinosaur would stay open throughout the whole 2025 year. What does this mean for the new Tropical Americas Land that the park announced? Well it means that they are definitely opening it in phases and want to keep one of the main attractions of the park open as long as possible (possibly until one of the new rides in this land open) to ensure guests have enough to do.

I’m glad I have a full year to do this ride before it closes for good. In case you weren’t aware, it’s being rethemed to a brand new Indiana Jones attraction with a story we havn’t seen yet!

Here’s a glimpse of some of the other news announced by Disney

  • The Disney Starlight parade will start late in 2025. This will be a new nighttime parade full of some amazing floats with lots of lights!

  • The new Pirates themed tavern will also open late in 2025

  • Coming in the summer of 2025 is a new Villains stage show at Hollywood Studios as well as the Little Mermaid musical show

  • In late Spring you can expect to be able to visit the new Spaceship Earth Lounge and later in Summer ride the re-imagined Test Track.
