Mr Beast Rents Out Theme Park, New HHN Location, and more

Universal Announces New Horror Experience Coming To Chicago

Before the HHN experience opens in Las Vegas later this year, Universal has announced a second HHN ‘like’ experience to open in 2027 in Chicago. The attraction will occupy 114,000 square feet of a commercial building that used to be the Chicago Tribune.

It will most likely mimic their Las Vegas location and include several horror houses that will be year-round. It’s unknown if it will include the same IP as Las Vegas which will have The Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I don’t think it will and will instead include scare houses based on other IP. This could sway visitors to go to both locations instead of just 1 or the other.

Here is a street view of what the build they are going to remodel looks like. It seems like they have a lot of space to work with!

Mr. Beast Rents Out All Of Disneyland For A Date Night

Mr. Beast recently rented out all of Disneyland (both parks) as part of his Date Night video he made. This was alluded to have cost $500,000 but whether that is accurate or if Disneyland let him use both parks at night for a publicity stunt is unknown.

It is quite cool seeing the park completely empty except for his friends and himself. They go on a few rides from what we can see but definitely not all of the good e-ticket attractions. This could be from a time constraint on their end of maybe they only had certain parts of the park open to them.

Watch the video below, skip ahead towards the 13 minute mark if you’re only interested in the Disneyland part.`

I Visited A Construction Themed Theme-Park!

I absolutely loved this theme park, it kind of blew me out of the water with the fun things they came up for you to do with some of these machines. My 2 year old absolutely loved everything about this park.

I think it’s the number 1 attraction in the area for kids under 36 inches in height. They can literally be a lap child on every attraction except for 1 (from what I was told at the front). That gives children the ability to do almost everything here and have a blast!

I do wish this park had more shade. In the hot summer, walking around this park was a pain. One member of our party actually left because it was just too hot. This could easily be fixed in the future and the parks relatively new so i have hope!

From The Editor

It’s been awhile since I sent out newsletters. There was a solid 6 months there that I didn’t send out a single one. But I think I’ve managed to find a pretty good spot in life where I have most things under control! That may change because 2 tiny children are very unpredictable!

Here’s what I hope to accomplish over the rest of the year with this newsletter.

  1. Provide you with a once a week newsletter that gives you the latest news about theme parks/attractions around the world.

  2. Send a couple longer emails that go into detail about certain topics. Maybe one email is about the history of rollercoasters, another could be about Epic Universe and planning a trip there, another could be about planning a trip to Japan.

  3. Going to be doing a lot more with Patreon later this year. If you want some cool content or just to support Parkineer, feel free to subscribe below!

  4. Create some really cool shirts that will help support the newsletter. I already have some cool shirts that I’ll start to promote. Below is one that I’m pretty proud of. Buying a shirt greatly helps support the newsletter as the fee beehiiv charges has been steadily increasing.

Also, I know this isn’t the best promo image for the shirt. I’ll be working on that too! If you want to buy this shirt, Click Here.

I’m giving out clear plastic badge/card holders to the first 50 people that reply to this email with the words ‘Coaster Credit’. This is something you can put a park pass into to keep dry. If you happen to have a lanyard, you could then attach this to that and add it around your neck.

Dollywood’s 2026 Attraction

Dollywood is setting the stage for what promises to be its most innovative and immersive attraction to date, scheduled to open in 2026. As details continue to slowly emerge, the scale and scope of this project are becoming clearer—and it’s safe to say this isn’t just another ride. This is a major leap forward for the Pigeon Forge park. - Theme Park Vision

What’s the most you’ll spend on a theme park trip? And by that I mean a trip that is mainly geared around visiting theme parks. You might spend a day or two doing something else, but you’re mainly interested in going to theme parks.

What's the most you'll spend on a 'theme park' trip?

Fast and Furious Coaster Revealed

Kachow

The new ride vehicle for the Fast and Furious coaster has been revealed, and it looks pretty spectacular! Dom’s 1970’s dodge charger will be one of the vehicles in the train. There will be other cars that go along for the ride and those havn’t been revealed yet. My guess is that this might be the most impressive one and that’s why they revealed it.

This new rollercoaster will be a huge addition to the park which desperately needed a large scale rollercoaster. Their Mummy coaster has been open for decades now and is kind of small.

From what we’ve seen, progress is being made and the ride definitely seems like it will open next year(it’s a rather large ‘target’ to hit so I don’t think they’ll be missing that).

Now my only question is, why can they replace Fast n Furious Supercharge at Universal Orlando with a ride of this caliber!
