Hundreds of Vintage Disneyland Items Go Up For Auction

Hundreds of very rare and vintage Disneyland and Disney items are going up for sale soon. The live auction starts July 17th and runs until July 19th. Some items might just go for a couple hundred dollars while others are expected to sell for tens of thousands of dollars!

These higher priced items are usually various ride vehicles that were once in use at the park. One of which being an Astro Orbiter vehicle and another being an original Peter Pan Ship!

From The Editor

This past week has been crazy busy and I just got back late last night from a trip to Iowa! Needless to say this newsletter was delayed a few days because of that. Expect upcoming content on Lost Island which was an absolutely amazing park to visit as well as Adventureland.

I should be able to get back to our regularly scheduled newsletter next week!

Skyline Attractions To Host Event For Aspiring Professionals

Skynext, the Skyline Attractions event for young professionals, is coming back! It was last held in 2018 and aims to be bigger than before. This event is perfect for those in college or recently graduated to learn more about the industry, network, and most importantly (in my opinion) get some cool behind the scenes looks at upcoming rides being built around the Orlando area.

My guess is that these upcoming rides could include the new coaster at Sea World Orlando or maybe even Epic Universe! If you want to learn more about this event as well as apply to be a part of it, click here.

The Sidemen Play Hide N Seek In A Zoo

The Sidemen team recently had played a game of Hide n Seek inside of a Zoo! They’ve done similar games at various theme parks around the world but I believe this was the first time they did one in a zoo. These hide n seek games are always fun to watch

Zamperla Debuts New Coaster Model

To possibly compete with the Sky Rocket II model from Premier Rides, it seems that Zamperla is trying to woo potential buyers with this new coaster layout featuring a double heart and multiple launches. Competition often breeds innovation and while this might seem too familiar to the Sky Rocket II model, I think it would provide a different experience.

Will a park buy this? It depends on the pricing of this versus the Sky Rocket II. The SR coaster is proven with many duplicated rollercoasters around the world. That means a lot of the problems have been worked out. However, with this newer coaster, it might come with more challenges.

Warner Bros. Movie World Australia Announces New Ride

The Flash: Speed Force will be opening in April 2024 at the Australia theme park. The ride will be the Intamin ‘Surfrider’ model that can be found at other parks around the world. I call it the ‘skateboard’ coaster as the ride vehicle resembles a skateboard.

While not the most thrilling of rides, this ride will appeal to families looking for moderate thrills. I have to say that the theming also looks pretty fun with the red Flash and Yellow Flash colors. I think that IP choice was perfect for this ride!
