Dragon Ball Theme Park Announced!

A new Dragon Ball theme park is being built and here’s everything you need to know about it. It will be the world’s first ever dragon ball theme park. This park will be the ultimate theme park for anyone that loves the Dragon Ball IP.

It will be over 500,000 square meters in size and feature seven different themed lands. These lands will included the Kame House, Capsule Corporation, Beerus’s Planet, Korin Tower, Bulma’s cruise liner, Muscle tower, and more.

There will be over 30 plus themed rides in the park, 5 of which will be ground breaking! One of which will be a 70m rollercoaster that takes you through and around Shenron. There will also be Dragon Ball themed hotels and restaurants planned for this development. 

The park will be located in Qiddiya, which is right outside of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. It’s all part of the Saudi Vision 2030, that is aimed at making Saudi Arabia one of the top tourism areas of the world. 

Looking at this theme park gets me really excited as I loved watching Dragon Ball every day when I came home from school. It’s very exciting that after all these years, they are finally going to be building a theme park dedicated to Dragon Ball. I’ll definitely be spending all my money at this park!wdwd

A Second Mattel Adventure Park Announced

A second Mattel Theme Park has been announced, this time going to Kansas City. Here’s everything we know about it so far. The park will open sometime in 2026 and will be the only theme park in Kansas. It’s expected to open with some of the same rides that the Mattel Adventure Park in Arizona is opening with.

These include the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker rollercoaster as well as the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer rollercoaster. Other attractions may include the Thomas the Train world which will feature Thomas and Friends in a meet and greet, and potentially a train ride attraction. 

There will also be a Barbie Beach House at this park, which can include the Barbie Dream Closet experience as well as a flying theater ride set in the barbie universe. 

He-man masters of the universe appears to be making an appearance in this park as well. This new park will supposedly be built somewhere near the Kansas Speedway track. This places it roughly 30 minutes away from it’s nearest competition, World’s of Fun.

Icon Park Purchased By Merlin

Icon Park, located in Orlando which includes the Wheel(a huge 400 foot tall Ferris wheel), a starflyer, and other attractions. This park was recently purchased by Merlin Entertainment.

Merlin owns several iconic theme park/attraction brands including Legoland and Madame Tussauds. The CEO of Icon Park, Chris Jaskiewicz has high hopes for the parks future and hopes to expand upon it further

D23 Ticket Prices Revealed

These prices are literally bananas. If you want very front row, it’s going to cost you $2599. All these other prices are also insane for what you get.

I get that they have additional expenses now that they moved into the Honda Hockey center to increase capacity for some of their panels, but come on. These prices are so outrageous.

I’ve gone to D23 several times in the past but I think i’ll be skipping out this time.

Six Flags America Reveals New Re-Themed Land

The re-themed land is done in a steam-punk type of theme. It contains a new Nebula flat ride from Zamperla, new themed dining, and a new shopping area. This part of the park needed some love on my last visit there so I’m glad it’s gotten a re-theme.

There’s been a steady trend of theme parks owned by Cedar Fair and Six Flags to increase the theming in their parks, and this is one good example of that happening. For too long some of these parks have just thrown up rides without any theming.

Kings Dominion Changes I305 Name

Kings Dominion had changed the name of their Intimidator 305 rollercoaster because they no longer wished to renew their licensing agreement with the Dale Earnhardt family.

They have since changed the name to Project 305.

Some have speculated that the cheetah print on this new sign means that the coaster will be rethemed into the Jungle Expedition land which is right outside of the coaster. I can imagine this being eventually given a new coat of paint to make it seem like a cheetah, maybe we call it Cheetah Hunt???
